For clients without the luxury of an in-house web developer, a fully hosted and supported eCommerce platform is a must. Fairweather Digital use Shopify as our hosted platform of choice, and offer Setup services to suit a range of clients’ needs and budgets.

Standard Setup
Our standard setup is the foundational first step of all of our new Shopify websites. Designed to get the client up and running as quickly as possible it includes the following essentials:
- Basics: Creation of a brand new Shopify site, setup of basic site structure and primary menus
- Branding: General branding implementation - Help with configuring the chosen theme’s* typography and colour schemes in accordance with clients brand and style preferences
- Home / Primary Landing Page: Configure the primary slideshow, add some and content (such as a welcome message and featured products).
- Starter Content: Initial pages and product upload
- Social media: Implementation of social media links, assistance linking site to existing mailchimp email newsletter
- Technical: Configuring Shopify store to clients domain
* To minimise initial setup time and cost, all setups will utilize a theme from the Shopify theme store.
Custom Designs
The standard setup above will utilize a pre-made theme from the Shopify theme store, and tweak it stylistically to suit the clients unique style and brand. However for some clients this does not provide the level of customisation they require, and for these clients we offer a custom theme design service. This follows the more traditional approach of designing to clients specific requirements rather than simply modifying an existing design.
* Please note that quotations are provided for custom designs only once a standard setup has been completed.
